2. Bruma Casa 8 - Boutique hotel at its finest
Can’t get enough of Bruma’s wine, then book a stay at the hotel. As one of Valle de Guadalupe’s best places to stay, Bruma is the closest option to a 5-star resort. The 200-acre property is an eco-luxury resort that offers everything you’d ever need for a relaxing, peaceful stay in Guadalupe Valley. The 15 private, ranch-style villas and 40-room hotel were designed by the famous architect Alejandro d’Acosta, who is well-known for several prominent projects in the region. He created the resort to be eco-friendly and blend in with the surrounding landscape.
The Casa 8 suites have a cozy bed & breakfast feel. Each suite is divided for privacy, yet attached to the main house so guests can enjoy a living room, kitchen, pool, deck, and outdoor lounge area. The villas are made using eco-friendly, sustainable materials, and blend contemporary and traditional Mexican designs. Bruma Hotel is an excellent option for a couples getaway, but also the perfect place to host large groups and events because of the large outdoor area. Important to note, the resort is home to Fauna restaurant, which is renowned for its fantastic menu by Chef David Castro Hussong.
3. La Villa De Valle - Italian Villa retreat overlooking vineyards
Located on a hilltop, in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe is the quaint La Villa del Valle hotel. The two-story hacienda was built in 2002 providing guests panoramic views of vineyards, lavender fields, and mountains. Owners Phil and Eileen Gregory, complete the experience by offering small, thoughtful touches such as fresh fruit upon arrival, sprigs of lavender on pillows, mint-infused water by the bedside, and treats of traditional Mexican cookies in the rooms.
This intimate hotel consists of just six beautiful rooms with plush beds, tasteful décor, and private bathrooms. Three rooms include full balconies containing Mexican “chimeneas” that add a cozy touch to the stay. A delicious full breakfast is included, as well as a complimentary glass of wine each evening. The inn sits on the same property as Vena Cava winery and Troika’s food truck, allowing guests the opportunity to experience the ultimate combination of wine, food, and stay.
4. Adobe Guadalupe - A Hacienda Inn experience
Owned by Tru Miller, Adobe Guadalupe is a winery and a hotel. Vineyards, mountains, and gardens surround this picture-perfect property. The bed-and-breakfast is a small, six-room sanctuary providing guests with all the amenities needed to have a peaceful and memorable experience.
Adobe Guadalupe is a hacienda-style property, with architecture that replicates an old castle on the Caspian Sea. Its red bricks are aged to perfection and add old-world charm. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and contain all the amenities of a luxury resort. Guests are treated to wine tasting in the property’s private cellar, and a full breakfast. The inner courtyard, next to the beautiful, bubbling fountain is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some wine. To fully appreciate this enchanting property guests are invited to explore the surrounding vineyards on horseback at their Azteca horse stables and breeding enter.
5. Encuentro Guadalupe - Best views in Valle de Guadalupe
Both a hotel and a winery, the peaceful environment invites visitors to experience a connection to nature through picturesque views of the mountains and scenic vineyards. All the 22 lofts at Encuentro Guadalupe feature private terraces, wireless Internet, outdoor clay kivas, and modern décor. It is fascinating how each loft hovers on the mountainside similar to lunar modules, providing an orange light when darkness arrives.
These modular lofts have smooth white melamine walls that act as a soft contrast to their rough metal exteriors. They are described as beautiful oyster shells, with the occupants acting representing the pearl. Rooms are intentionally small to provide an intimate setting. Highlights for guests include enjoying the private, outdoor patio at sunset, awaiting the stars to take over the night’s dark sky, and swimming in the infinity pool.
