Casa Magoni winery is owned and operated by the Magoni family’s second generation and guided by the hand of the skilled enologist Camillo Magoni. Casa Magoni started offering its wine to the public in 2013 after 15 years of creating their wines solely for private consumption. Their goal is to provide guests with quality wines that showcase the varietal characteristics of their grapes. This philosophy along with the peaceful setting and excellent service have grown Casa Magoni vineyards to be a favorite in the valley.
To ensure their unique qualities are preserved, all wine offerings are made from grapes harvested directly from their beautiful vineyard. Casa Magoni Valle de Guadalupe features both commercial and classic grape varieties that range from Bordeaux grapes (Merlots, Sauvignons, and Cabernet Francs) to Rhone grapes (Syrahs and Grenaches) to Greek grapes (Assyrtiko and Moscofilero). Besides these classic varieties, Casa Magoni also features an experimental field, which is where they cultivate more than 70 grape varieties from across the globe and produce intriguing wines that have adapted to their land. But it’s their Nebbiolo that really shines and inspires visitors to appreciate Mexican wine.
